The course is a modified version of a Problem-Based Learning or PBL case previously completed by multidisciplinary groups of health care students and professionals. PBL is a process of self-directed learning through identification and research of issues relevant to particular disciplines. This particular case explores the questions and consequences evoked by an infectious disease present in Chuuk.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify significant signs and symptoms that lead to a diagnosis of Tuberculosis.
2. Take appropriate preventative measures to reduce the likelihood of contracting Tuberculosis.
